What Our Members Are Saying
Real stories from people whose lives have been impacted by our accessible Therapy Gym

"Excellent Gym facilities. A unique facility which suited my poor mobility issues. A taster session demonstrated individual needs are met. The team of Jason, Matt & Connell were on hand to offer help and assistance. A dedicated trainer is present at each session to provide guidance and encouragement. I would recommend this therapy gym concept"

"I started going to the Therapy gym in May 2023, I have a disability where my peripheral limbs nerves are damaged and cause muscle wastage. This is a progressive condition with no cure called Charcot-Marie-Tooth. I was lost as walking was hard even with crutches and due to years of inactivity I had gained weight and through a lot of falls lost my confidence to get about. In the first year my walking improved 1000 percent, my confidence came back, my fitness is best been for 20 years and I've lost 3 stone in weight with guidance on the right exercises and best food to eat. This has helped me reverse my type 2 diabetes. I can't recommend this gym and all the trainers enough. It's a great friendly place, no one judges anyone all members encourage each other."

"Trainers look at personal needs and one has to work if you wish to improve! Very helpful, one can ask what exercise would focus helping if area of body struggling. Still do balance exercises at least once a month"

"I was made to feel welcome and really enjoy my time there! At first not all the equipment worked for me (I have a unruly leg!) Matt gave it some thought and on my next visit had made some adjustments and no problem! I would recommend 100% for both physical and mental wellbeing!"

"After my brain injury I needed a rehabilitation gym to build up my strength. I have been coming for over a year and I am still motivated by the team, even during the cold days! They have helped me enormously with body strength, stamina and general conversation about diet etc. As I have improved, so has my self-esteem and confidence which I am sure has enabled me to recover quickly. I can't recommend it highly enough."

"I really like my visits to this gym. The staff are friendly and kind and I feel they give me enough work to do to challenge me on every visit, but not too much. I never leave discouraged. But overall I do think my fitness is improving."
